Chicago Construction Workforce Equity Ordinance

We’ve joined with Chicago Women In Trades to fight for more equitable and inclusive hiring practices within the unionized construction trades, so all workers receive economic security, competitive wages, and full benefits.

Skills Agenda

We’ve joined forces with the Chicago Job Council’s Skills Agenda—a coalition of career pathway stakeholders across the state—to ensure Illinois’ Equitable Recovery supports our most marginalized employees and job seekers.

The Transit Table

RW was honored to have a seat alongside other key stakeholders at the Transit Table, which helped Governor JB Pritzker sign the License2Work Act—a critical step in reducing transportation barriers by eliminating license suspension for most non-moving violations.

Apprenticeship Committee

We’re on the Illinois Workforce Innovation Board’s Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship Committee to help build upon the infrastructure to align partners, funding, and services and fully integrate within the Illinois workforce ecosystem.
