Our Trades Pathways Program graduates:

Have proficiency in entry-level skills, including proper use of hand and power tools, carpentry projects, basic electric, woodworking, and plumbing
Are trained on industry standards for punctuality, work ethic, drug testing, and communication
OSHA-10 Certified
NCCER Core Certified

Our Professional Pathways and Power Up Program graduates:

Are proficient in Autodesk Construction Cloud, project management best practices, blueprint reading, estimating, building systems, and more
Gain exposure to AutoCAD and Revit
Are trained on industry standards for punctuality, work ethic, and communication
North Star Digital Literacy Certified

Does your project qualify for extra incentives?

Revolution Workshop is not your typical workforce development program in Chicago. We’re a community — and when you employ our workers, they bring the values they learned here to your jobsite.

On-The-Job Training:

Contractors may be eligible to receive up to a 75% wage reimbursement for hiring qualified new employees for up to 6 months.

Work Opportunity Tax Credits:

Contractors may be eligible for a one time $2,400 tax credit per new qualified hire.

Fidelity Bonding:

A no-cost insurance coverage from $5,000 up to $25,000 that enables employers to hire job applicants considered to be “at risk” due to their past life experiences.

Bid Credit Programs:

Contractors can often earn bid credits with CTA, Tollway, and Illinois Works projects by employing qualified participants. Contractors can also receive additional cash benefits depending on the project.
